As a medical auxiliary instrument, the nursing bed has been widely used in many occasions, such as hospitals, sanatorium, family and so on. In this paper, based on the module theory, a kind of multifunctional nursing bed is designed, based on the module theory, for the elderly who need nursing and the people with lower limb dysfunction. The nursing bed has turned back, side turn, integral lifting and lower limb motor function, considering the lower extremity exercise in patients and the needs of daily life, has the function of scalable, customized features of high degree, the side turning more reliable motion completely, flexible movement of lower limbs.
